Our skills include planning and conducting environmental site assessments (ESAs) in accordance with federal and provincial standards throughout western Canada. Assessment capabilities are:
Non-intrusive investigations using geophysical methods and desktop Phase I ESA reviews in accordance with CAN/CSA-Z768-01 (R2012).
Intrusive investigations of waste disposal grounds (WDGs) soil, groundwater, and surface water, in accordance with CAN/CSA-Z769-00 (R2013).
Analysis and interpretation of soil and groundwater geochemistry and stable isotope geochemistry.
Aquifer characterization testing and analysis using mechanical and geophysical techniques.
Groundwater flow and contaminant transport modelling.
Conducting and coordinating environmental impact studies for industrial developments.
Coordination, planning and supervision of environmental drilling investigations including horizontal drilling, using tools such as: sonic, push-probe, solid-stem, hollow-stem and air-rotary in a variety of geological settings across western Canada.
Development of operations manual and internal and external auditing procedures in various industrial sectors.
Site suitability assessment for oil and gas, mining, and municipal waste disposal.
Presenting expert testimony in court with regards to prosecution of environmental infractions.
Development and implementation of ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
Development and implementation of ISO 9001 quality management.
Environmental and quality management system and compliance auditing.
Development and implementation of environmental monitoring programs.
Development and implementation of remediation and reclamation programs including cover designs for reclaimed waste areas, monitored natural attenuation and the installation and monitoring of dual-phase extraction systems.
Development of technical and regulatory guidance documents for regulatory bodies.
